⊹ 5. Recount Text ⊹

Hello Everyone, how are you today? materi pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris pagi ini tentang "Recount Text"  is a text that is telling the reader about one story, action, or activity. Recount text is a text which retells event or experiences in the past.

Structure Recount Text :

1.) Orientation
in this part gives the readers background information needed to understand the Text. Such as who was involved, where it happened & when it happened.

2.) Events
in this part contain about chronological sequences.

3.) Reorientation
it contain personal comment about the event.

Language features :

• using simple past tense.
• using temporal sequence (first, after, then).
• focus on specific participant (i, the writer).
• using action verb (went, stayed ete).

Setelah itu kami di beri tugas mengenai recount text, dan tugas mencari perbedaan dari dua text berkelompok dengan teman sebangku.

DESCRIPTIVE TEXT : RUBBISH ON LAND BEACH

Identification :  Waste is material generated by human activities and natural processes. Waste is organic material or items that have been used and discarded. Waste can be an environmental problem if not managed properly. Description 1 : Lately there has been a lot of news about trash everywhere. One of them is at Land Beach. One of the reasons is because tourists cannot maintain the cleanliness of the surrounding environment. Description 2 : There is a lot of garbage scattered around the land beach. Starting from organic to inorganic waste. Making land beach unpleasant to look at and detrimental to the ecosystem around it. Description 3 : The tourists who come to visit the land beach pick up the garbage around it. They dispose of garbage according to its type. And hopefully in the future the surrounding community will care more about the environment.
